Elisabeth O'Donnell

Passionate about employing a multimedia lens to approach both high impact stories, as well as quieter human interest pieces. In applying my rich journalistic experience, I strive to contribute to a community's understanding of itself. Writing is my greatest strength, however my training and interests also include video production, design, and social media.

 

Past experiences allowed me to adapt my skills to both traditional journalism and strategic communication and marketing.

Throughout my career I have also collaborated extensively with other writers throughout their production processes, as the lead editor of two campus publications. Holding these positions enhanced my understanding of the importance of collaboration and taught me how to manage an effective team. Editing also enriched my own creative skill set, as I witnessed other storytellers' approaches.
